Miranda Kerr's Style

Effortlessly Chic Style:

Oversized blazers, loose tees, skinny jeans and dresses in the prettiest of hues are uniform to the Victoria Secret Angel. Comfortable but stylish at the same time, her choices dictate that you can be busy and look good at the same time. Mixing it up with pops of colour here and there, as well as varying heel heights.

You only need a few key pieces to string together a look that is both understated and fashion-savvy. Invest in an oversized ‘boyfriend’ blazer. These babies will pretty much go with anything: jeans, skirts, shorts, hats, gloves, socks … it’s a great way to add an element of tailoring into your look.

A basic tee in white or black is the greatest foundation any wardrobe can ask for. Able to be dressed up or rocked out, the versatility of this piece of apparel is immense. Team it with cut-offs, jewelled sandals and some cute bracelets for a fun day in the sun or with a mini leather skirt, wedges and some fine jewellery for a night on the town. Add some stripes to your wardrobe for a bit of zing.
Accessorise minimally and you’ll be sure to look grand. Think watches and a few bangles; a little necklace layered with a longer one, pendants, not extravagant neck pieces; scarves in interesting prints and colours to add another dimension to your outfit. Focus on one aspect of your outfit and don’t overdo it.

FABULOUS FRIDAY [Cocobella Coconut Water]

Thank you to Miranda Kerr (kora organics) + BellaMumma for introducing me to Cocobella.

I will be drinking this in bucket loads.

Miranda shares the benefits:

1. How can coconut water help with losing weight?
- Coconut water has a thermogenic effect on the body, this means it helps to speed up our metabolism. Our metabolism controls how fast we burn up calories (aka kilojoules), so the faster your metabolic rate is, the more energy you’ll burn resulting in weight loss.
2. How much coconut water is recommended every day?
- I personally drink about 250 ml of cocobella daily, sometimes more if I’ve done lots of exercise, esp Bikram yoga! But for the regular person wanting to gain the health benefits, aim for 150ml per day and up it if you need more hydration (like in the summer or after a personal training session!)
3. Are the benefits of coconut water also found in other coconut products, like fresh coconut or coconut milk?
-Coconut water doesn’t contain fat, so people often prefer to consume that on a daily basis as opposed to the milk. The water contains a nice hit of electrolytes which the body needs straight after exercise. Both the milk and oil contain health benefits, so it’s a great idea to include a variety of coconut products into your eating plan.
4. What is the best way to serve coconut water?
- I love drinking coconut water straight up! But some people find that flavour a bit full on so its also really nice when you mix it with fruit juices. Cocobella coconut water comes in 3 fruit juice blends- pineapple, mango and pink guava- and so is perfect for those who aren’t totally into pure coconut water, but still want to get the health benefits. I sometimes add pomegranate juice and mix through a few fresh pomegranate seeds for a quirky twist and added antioxidant boost!

5. What are the other health benefits of coconut water?
The health benefits of coconut water are pretty impressive- it’s high in natural electrolytes so it’s the perfect post exercise sports drink. It’s also linked to increasing our metabolic rate, thus, helping us to achieve weight loss goals. Plus, it contains this stuff called lauric acids which helps to balance our gut flora, so helps promote healthy digestive function and boosts the immune system! So as you can see, coconut water is pretty awesome!!

Treasure Yourself

In Treasure Yourself, international supermodel Miranda Kerr offers her own view on how her generation and those following can achieve greater health and happiness. Miranda believes that one of the most powerful tools to facilitate change is positive affirmation and she has collected over 100 affirmations from some of the world's most inspirational authors including Louise L. Hay, Wayne W. Dyer, Deepak Chopra and many more.
The book begins with a lovely parable that teaches that sometimes, challenges and struggles are exactly what we need in our lives; that we should not see every struggle and challenge as a negative because just as a caterpillar has to struggle out of its cocoon, it can then open its wings and fly . . .
I wish to share my inspiration with you, so that you will treasure and believe in yourself, have faith in your abilities, accept who you are and uncover your own unique gifts. We all have wings, but it is up to each one of us to have the courage to fly. My hope is that these words and the affirmations included will help empower you to reach for your dreams even in difficult times. With action, anything in life is possible'.

Miranda Kerr

Miranda Kerr credits her flawless complexion to the powerful antioxidants found in Tahitian
Noni Juice, but it seems the supermodel also has a host of other beauty tricks up her sleeve.
The 28-year old, who gave birth to baby Flynn only six months ago, says living a healthy,
organic lifestyle is paramount to her career.
"I am an advocate for living a healthy and organic life and I have been modelling for over a decade."
In a recent interview, the Victoria's Secret Angel confessed she "doesn't go a day" without
injesting four tablespoons of coconut oil, which is reportedly known to benefit the condition
of the skin and hair.
"I personally take four tablespoons of coconut oil per day, either on my salads, in my cooking
or in my cups of green tea. I will not go a day without coconut oil."
To keep her skin hydrated, Miranda says she keeps a "spray mist" handy so she can spritz
on the go. In addition, the supermodel is also a big fan of rosehip oil.
"Do not underestimate the importance of organic rosehip oil and eye gel," who created her own organic
beauty line only a few years ago.
"In (my time as a model) I have travelled extensively and tried skincare products from all
over the world. I could never quite find the quality organic skincare I was looking for so I decided
to create my own — not only for me but for others to experience first-hand the benefits of using
healthy organic skincare."

Miranda Kerr, InStyle Australia

QUESTION - Does the cover influence whether you buy the latest magazine?
I have to admit there are regular magazines I buy and the cover does influence me.

The latest In Style Magazine with Miranda on the cover.

My favourite shot is with Miranda wearing the Camilla and Marc Dress (navy + green).
Just gorgeous. x
